He was born in 1977 in Bogotá, Colombia, where he continues to live and work. Academically trained in architecture, Paris was a primary school teacher in Meta, Colombia, before pursuing a career as an artist. The work of Paris is often based on the pedagogical strategy to incorporate elements of collaboration, dialogue and exchange in their work, which is oriented around the interests in architecture as a model, education as a system and drawing as a tool. Paris has exhibited individually in Mexico, Colombia, Spain and Brazil.
