Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes looked like the version of himself that led the franchise to a Super Bowl and MVP honors, throwing for 406 yards and five touchdowns. He threw two in the final quarter to Darrell Williams and Byron Pringle, respectively, to seal the victory. Travis Kelce also had a big game for Kansas City, snagging eight receptions for 119 yards.
Las Vegas struggled on all sides of the ball throughout the game, particularly trying to stop the pass rush. Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was constantly under pressure, finishing with 261 passing yards, two touchdowns an interception, in addition to being sacked twice.
The Raiders (5-4) not only lost the game, but they also lost key players during Sunday night’s action. Fullback Alec Ingold suffered a knee injury and the team fears it is a torn ACL, The Athletic confirmed. He will have tests Monday to confirm. Running back Jalen Richard also suffered cracked ribs and is being evaluated, a source told The Athletic.
